Perfect location with great access to downtown Asheville and all that it has to offer. The staff is always friendly, helpful and cordial. Breakfast is a nice option and the hotel is nice and quiet at night allowing for a good night's sleep.

Great location, and even better that there was parking available. The room was clean and comfortable. We were on the top (5th) floor, and there was a nice view in all directions from the walkways. Breakfast was good - better than most places in the US.

We have stayed here a few times. You can not beat the location and price. Sure, it's a bit dated as others have said but it's clean and friendly and has parking. It's very centrally located. Once you're there, park the car and walk everywhere!

Wonderful breakfast with a large dining room. Breakfast stays out really late. Breakfast doesn’t get put away until around lunch time, which I really appreciate. I’ve never been to any hotel that has breakfast hours last this long. This is a huge bonus for me. Also, you can’t beat the location! Perfection location for walking anywhere downtown and around. The shower was amazing with good water pressure. All of these things Ive listed are usually hard to find at hotel, the Downtown Inn has it all. I Love the Downtown Inn for this reason. The staff was very nice as well! And they are pet friendly! They check all of my boxes! :)

The location was perfect for us. And the place is good value for money. It is older and tired looking, but clean. And the staff is freindly and helpful.

The rooms are a generous size. I liked that there was a fridge and microwave. Best part is that it's walking distance from so many things, including Harrahs and there's free parking. Love!

Great mountain side view from the back side. Breakfast is perfectly mid, easy and do it yourself. The real gem here is the location, literally the dead center of Asheville. You can easily park and not need to move your car all weekend. You right by everything you need.

My wife and I love this place. We like we can walk and eat, shop and walk back to the room and relax and watch your new satellite TV you have now. My wife enjoys your breakfast in the morning.

They cancelled in person since I told them my wallet was stolen and I had no hard copy of my id. I did have my laptop where I showed them my DL and passport. They also said I was required to have a car to stay there. Total bs. Do not stay here.
